PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

HUNTHUB is a mobile application for outdoor enthusiasts to connect with others nearby or across the country. It has an integrated mapping system to help find legal hunting land and a community forum to share real-time photos and chat with other users. The logbook feature allows you to share information with friends or others in your community groups.
The application has built-in safety features that are especially useful for young and solo hunters, including an SOS button that sends alerts to others and an active button that displays your location when activated. It also has a radius feature that notifies you when someone enters into your hunting zone.
Our app also offers a built-in AIS to track vessels in your area, with fleet building storage and multiple map layers. You can tag and chat with other vessels for safe passage, and the SOS button alerts others in case of emergencies while boating or when out fishing at your favorite spots.
Hunthub will be available soon to download from Apple and Android stores.

Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

HuntHub collects information you provide directly, including your name, email address, profile information, and avatar image. We also collect the following data depending on which features you use:

Location Data: GPS coordinates when you enable location sharing, geo-fence boundaries you create, drop pin locations, track line paths, and blood trail coordinates.

Media & Camera: Photos you capture for species identification, logbook entries, community feed posts, and wallet documents (licenses, permits, tags).

Communications: Messages sent through the in-app messaging system and voice audio transmitted during push-to-talk sessions.

Activity Data: Selected outdoor activity type, safety radius settings, check-in responses, calendar events, logbook entries, and community feed interactions.

Device Information: Device type, operating system, push notification tokens, and app usage patterns.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve our services, including:

Real-time location sharing with users in your groups and nearby users within your safety radius.

Emergency SOS broadcasting to users within a 3km radius.

Check-in safety monitoring, including automated SOS activation after consecutive missed check-ins.

Geo-fence boundary alerts and proximity notifications.

AI-powered species identification using photos you submit.

Delivering weather forecasts, hunting/fishing/hiking condition scores, and outdoor advisories based on your location.

Push notifications for safety alerts, messages, check-in prompts, and weather warnings, which automatically mirror to paired smartwatches.

Facilitating push-to-talk voice communication within your groups.

Managing your subscription, processing payments, and providing account services.

3. Location Data

Location tracking is only active when you start a live session. You can stop sharing your location at any time by ending your session or using the auto shut-off timer. We do not track your location when the app is closed or when no session is active. Location data is broadcast via Firebase Realtime Database approximately every 10 seconds during active sessions. Blood trail coordinates are visible to all nearby users for the duration you set. Geo-fence boundaries and drop pins are stored in your account and are not shared with others unless you choose to do so.

4. AI-Powered Features

When you use the Species Identification camera, your photo is sent to Google's Gemini AI service for analysis. The photo is processed to identify the species and provide relevant information including regulations, safety tips, and fun facts. Photos submitted for species ID may be saved to your logbook or shared to the community feed at your discretion. Google may process this data according to their own privacy policy.

5. Voice Communication

Push-to-talk voice communication is powered by Agora. Audio is transmitted in real-time only while you hold the talk button and is not recorded or stored by HuntHub. Agora may process audio data according to their own privacy policy. Voice channels are private to your group members.

6. Third-Party Services

HuntHub integrates with the following third-party services that may collect or process data:

Firebase (Google): Authentication, real-time database, and cloud storage for user data and location sharing.

Agora: Real-time voice communication for push-to-talk features.

Google Gemini AI: Species identification image analysis.

Open-Meteo: Weather data, marine data, hunting/fishing/hiking forecasts. No personal data is sent; only coordinates.

NOAA: Tide prediction data. No personal data is sent.

ArcGIS: River mile marker data. No personal data is sent.

RainViewer: Doppler radar imagery. No personal data is sent.

OpenStreetMap: Map tiles for offline map downloads. No personal data is sent.

7. Data Stored on Your Device

Certain data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers, including: safety radius preferences, track line recordings (until saved to logbook), offline map tiles, wallet documents (license/permit photos), notification preferences, and calendar alarm settings. This data remains on your device unless you choose to sync or share it.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Your location is shared only with group members, nearby users within your configured safety radius, and all nearby users during SOS events. Community feed posts you share are visible to other HuntHub users. Blood trails you create are visible to all nearby users. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for research purposes.

9. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication through Firebase, and encrypted storage for sensitive credentials. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Push Notifications & Smartwatch Alerts

HuntHub sends push notifications for safety-critical events (SOS alerts, check-in prompts, geo-fence breaches), messages, group updates, and weather warnings. These notifications automatically mirror to paired smartwatches (Apple Watch, Wear OS) through your device's operating system. You can control notification categories individually in the app's notification settings. We store your push notification token to deliver these alerts.

11. Subscription & Payment Data

Subscription purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not directly collect or store your payment card information. We receive confirmation of your subscription status to manage access to premium features.

12. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can update your profile information in the app settings, manage notification preferences, delete logbook entries and wallet items, and remove community feed posts. Contact us to request full account and data deletion. Upon deletion request, your data will be removed from our active systems within 30 days.

13. Children's Privacy

HuntHub is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete the information promptly.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the app or via email. Your continued use of HuntHub after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HuntHub, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

HuntHub provides outdoor safety tracking, real-time location sharing, group management, emergency SOS alerts, check-in safety monitoring, weather and forecast information, AI-powered species identification, in-app messaging, push-to-talk voice communication, community sharing, logbook recording, geo-fence alerts, map overlays, offline maps, and other tools for hunters, hikers, fishermen, and outdoor enthusiasts. Our services are designed to enhance safety but should not replace proper outdoor safety practices and equipment.

3. User Accounts & Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate profile information and to use the service only for lawful purposes in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations regarding hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

4. Safety Disclaimers

HuntHub is a supplementary safety tool and should not be your only means of emergency communication. Always carry appropriate emergency equipment and ensure you have alternative communication methods when venturing outdoors. We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or reliability of our services. Specifically:

The SOS feature broadcasts your location to nearby HuntHub users only. It is not a replacement for calling 911 or emergency services.

The check-in safety system and automatic SOS depend on network connectivity and should not be relied upon as your sole safety measure.

Push-to-talk voice communication requires an active internet connection and is not a substitute for radio or satellite communication devices.

Geo-fence alerts depend on GPS accuracy and may not trigger precisely at boundary edges.

5. Location Accuracy & Map Data

Location accuracy depends on GPS signal, device capabilities, and environmental factors. HuntHub is not responsible for inaccurate location data or any consequences arising from location inaccuracies. Map overlays including Wildlife Management Area boundaries, public lands, trails, water features, and river mile markers are sourced from third-party data providers and may not reflect current conditions. Property boundaries shown in future features are for reference only and should not be used for legal boundary determinations. Offline map tiles are sourced from OpenStreetMap and may not be up to date.

6. Weather, Forecast & AI Features

Weather data, hunting forecasts, fishing forecasts, hiking forecasts, tide predictions, and outdoor advisories are provided for informational purposes only and should not be your sole basis for safety decisions. Forecast scores and game-specific ratings are algorithmic estimates and do not guarantee actual conditions or outcomes. AI-powered species identification provides best-guess results and should not be used as the sole basis for harvest decisions or regulatory compliance. Always verify species identification and consult official regulations independently.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

HuntHub offers subscription plans with varying feature access. Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms. Subscription prices may change with advance notice. Auto-renewal can be managed through your device's subscription settings. Refunds are subject to the policies of the respective app store.

8. User Content & Community

You retain ownership of content you create, including logbook entries, community feed posts, photos, calendar events, and messages. By posting content to the community feed, you grant HuntHub a non-exclusive license to display and distribute that content within the app. You agree not to post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or violates the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms without notice.

9. Voice Communication Conduct

Push-to-talk voice channels are provided for group communication during outdoor activities. You agree not to use voice features for illegal purposes, harassment, or transmission of harmful content. HuntHub does not record or store voice communications but cannot guarantee that other group members will not record conversations on their end.

10. Digital Wallet

The Wallet feature is a personal document organizer for storing photos of your hunting licenses, fishing licenses, permits, and tags. It is not a payment method, digital currency wallet, or official license replacement. Wallet data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining valid physical licenses and permits as required by law. HuntHub does not verify the validity of documents stored in the Wallet.

11. SOS Feature & Emergency Use

The SOS feature broadcasts your location to nearby HuntHub users within approximately 3 kilometers. It is designed to alert fellow outdoor enthusiasts to your emergency. False or deliberate misuse of the SOS feature may result in account suspension or termination. HuntHub is not an emergency service provider and bears no liability for emergency response times or outcomes.

12. Third-Party Services & Data

HuntHub integrates with third-party services including Firebase, Agora, Google Gemini AI, Open-Meteo, NOAA, ArcGIS, RainViewer, and OpenStreetMap. Your use of these integrated services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Shop listings may link to external websites operated by third-party partners; HuntHub is not responsible for the content, products, or practices of these external sites.

13. Intellectual Property

HuntHub and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by HuntHub and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Map data, weather data, and other third-party content are the property of their respective owners and used under license.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HuntHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to damages arising from inaccurate location data, failed emergency alerts, incorrect species identification, inaccurate weather or forecast data, missed check-in notifications, or interrupted voice communications.

15. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use HuntHub to: violate any laws or regulations; stalk, harass, or threaten other users; share another user's location without their consent; transmit malicious content; interfere with or disrupt the service; create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions; use the app while engaged in activities prohibited by law; or misuse the SOS or safety features.

16. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms, misuse of safety features, or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately. Your locally stored data (offline maps, wallet items) will remain on your device until you uninstall the app.

17. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the app. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

18. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
